12 oz. spaghetti
4 oz. cream cheese, room temperature, cut into pieces
1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
1 pkg (8 oz.) Crab Classic, Flake Style
Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
Meanwhile, add cream cheese, avocado, parsley, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper to blender or food processor; puree until smooth.
Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water. Add pasta back to pot. Toss pasta with crab, pasta water and avocado sauce. Set over low heat. Cook, stirring until smooth and creamy and heated through.
Tip: Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.
