Butter-Poached Crab Classic Sliders
Crab Classic is poached in a flavorful garlic butter for a simple but decadent filling for these crowd-pleasing sliders.

Ingredients
Butter-Poached Crab:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 pkg (each 8 oz) Crab Classic*, Flake Style
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
Sliders:
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp lemon zest
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 stalk celery, diced
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill
8 slider buns, split and toasted
8 leaves Boston lettuce
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions
Butter-Poached Crab: In small saucepan set over medium-low heat, stir together butter, garlic, paprika, salt and pepper until butter is melted. Reduce heat to low. Stir in crab and parsley. Warm mixture gently, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes or until crab is heated through (try not to let butter simmer).
Sliders: Meanwhile, in medium bowl, stir together mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, Dijon, salt and pepper. Stir in celery, chives and dill.
Using slotted spoon, transfer crab from butter poaching mixture to mayonnaise mixture. Fold to combine.
Brush slider buns with some of the remaining poaching butter mixture (reserve any remaining butter for another use).
Assemble lettuce and crab mixture in slider buns. Serve with lemon wedges.
Tips: Substitute paprika with Old Bay seasoning or chipotle chile powder for variation.
Refrigerate any reserved butter poaching mixture and use to flavor pasta, potatoes, or roasted or steamed veggies.
*Note: Crab Classic can be replaced by Crab Supreme or Simply Surimi in any of our recipes.
