Cheesy Crab Classic Roll-Ups
Ingredients
8 oz brick-style plain cream cheese
1 tbsp hot sauce
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 pkg (8 oz) Crab Classic, Flake Style*, hand shredded
2 cups shredded sharp (old) Cheddar cheese, divided
1/3 cup finely diced bell pepper (any color)
4 scallions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
4 large flour tortillas (10 inches)
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In medium bowl, using handheld electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, hot sauce, Old Bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt and black pepper until smooth and blended. Stir in Crab Classic, 1 cup Cheddar cheese, bell pepper, scallions and parsley until well combined.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over tortillas, leaving 1-inch border. Tightly roll up into log shape. Cut into 1-inch-thick slices. Arrange rolls on parchment paper–lined baking sheet, spacing about 1 inch apart. Sprinkle tops of rolls with remaining Cheddar cheese.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese has melted and is bubbling.
Tips:
To make ahead, wrap each rolled tortilla log in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for up to 8 hours. When ready to serve, cut into slices, sprinkle with cheese and bake.
Substitute sharp (old) Cheddar cheese with mild Cheddar, marble or Monterey Jack cheese if preferred.
*Note: Crab Classic can be replaced by Crab Supreme or Simply Surimi in any of our recipes.
