Crab Classic Fritters
Ingredients
8 oz. Crab Classic, Flake Style
1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
1 whole egg
2/3 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. table ground black pepper
1/4 diced sweet onion, vidalia or walla walla
1 tbsp. chopped flat leaf parsley
oil for deep frying
Directions
Chop crab flakes into small pieces. Sift the dry ingredients, flour and baking powder, together and set aside. Combine liquid ingredients and mix. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the liquid. Add Crab Classic, onions, parsley, salt and pepper and mix. Deep fry at 375°F until golden brown.
Makes 12 large fritters
