Crab Classic Sushi Bake

Ingredients
1 cup sushi rice
1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
1/2 tsp each salt and sugar
1/3 cup Japanese mayonnaise
2 tbsp sriracha hot sauce
4 oz plain brick-style cream cheese, at room temperature
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 pkg (8 oz) Crab Classic, Flake Style*, hand-shredded
1 ripe mango, peeled and thinly sliced
2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
For serving:
8 roasted nori sheets
1 cup thinly sliced cucumber
1 ripe avocado, thinly sliced
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook rice according to package directions.
Stir together vinegar, salt and sugar; toss with rice. Wet hands slightly; press rice evenly into well-greased 9-inch square or 2-quart baking dish.
Stir together mayonnaise and sriracha. Using electric mixer, beat 1/3 cup mayonnaise mixture, cream cheese and sesame oil; spread over rice in even layer. Top with Crab Classic and mango in decorative pattern. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through and top is golden. Drizzle with remaining mayonnaise mixture.
Serve sushi bake with nori, cucumber and avocado to assemble taco-style.
Tips:
- After pressing rice into baking dish, sprinkle with 2 tbsp store-bought furikake seasoning.
- Serve sushi bake with soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi paste.
- Substitute toasted seaweed snacks for nori sheets.
- For added flavor, grease baking dish with sesame oil.
*Note: Crab Classic can be replaced by Crab Supreme or Simply Surimi in any of our recipes.
